Halloween

Halloween was super fun. 

Paul's hairpiece was a favorite (although my favorite was his 6 pack abs!) . . .

Paul also figured out a way for us to fly . . .

Our nieces Ali & Kat were the cutest lady bugs- ali even had rain boots to match!  No, it wasn't raining, but no sense arguing with a 3 yr old!

This is our next door neighbor, Sam who is about 8 months dressed as Elvis- the wig was killer!

My friend Larissa dressed as corpse bride and did a phenomenal job on her make-up!  Dez was fascinated by the red makeup or maybe just by Larissa's beauty!

Pumpkin Patch

Dez had a blast at the pumpkin patch with his cousins Ali & Kat.  After these pics, the girls had fun feeding the sheeps, goats and llamas in the petting zoo.  This year we didn't have time to carve pumpkins, but next year . . .

Pre-Baptism

We had a wonderful baptism weekend for Dez.  The weekend started with a visit from the Millers (Grandma Mimi, John & Marilyn and Ann).

Festivities continued on Saturday with the Pulhams arriving just in time for the Carne Asada in the backyard- thanks to Gibby and Gil for putting together the space heater!

Baptism

The baptism was wonderful.  Odd that some of the ceremony was officiated by Deacon Fred outside the church and only in front of Dez' parents and godparents.

Dez wore the Miller's baptismal gown (also worn by Paul) and a gorgeous overlay.

Monsignor Barry was impressed that Dez didn't cry during the baptism -

Our nieces, Ali and Kat, looked too cute!  Just loved the flower headband the size of Kat's head.

The party was great.  Thanks to Abuelita for the holy waters and the baptism chocolates!

A new Garcia/Pulham tradition is to have babies wear a baptismal/blessing gown that is embroidered with each child's name and date of birth.  Dez is the 4th child!

visit from the Belk-Guptas and other pics with Tita, Steph and Ann

The Belk-Guptas came to meet Dez and brought a fantastic picnic- so much fun.  Dez dressed up for the occasion in his monogramed shirt, polo undershirt and vans.

Dez is not going to be too happy about the bonnet, but it is too cute.

Drs. & Vaccinations - Oh My!

We went for Dez' 2 month visit last Friday.  He weighs 12 lbs 9 oz (the size of a turkey according to Paul).  He received his first vaccine :(
